On March 11, 2023, the annual meeting on law training institution network in Vietnam in 2022 took place at the 6th floor, Palace Hotel (56-66 Nguyen Hue street, Ben Nghe ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

The meeting was pleased to welcome Executive Board’s members of the VLSN network, including:

- University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City: represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Vu Nam, Vice Rector (Head);

- University of Law, Hue University: represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector (Member);

- University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi: represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh, Rector (Member);

- Hanoi Law University: represented by Dr. Chu Manh Hung, Chairman of the School Council, (Member);

- Ho Chi Minh City University of Law: represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Van Nhiem, Chairman of the School Council (Member);

- Faculty of Law, Can Tho University: represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trung Hien, Dean (Member of the extended Executive Board in 2022).

The meeting also welcomed members’ representatives of the law training institution network in Vietnam; including: An Giang University, Vinh University, Hanoi Open University, Vietnam Women's Academy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Mien Dong Innovative Technology University, University of Technology and Management, Dong A University, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Northern Law College, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, National Economics University, Hanoi Metropolitan University, Banking University, Quy Nhon University, Thang Long University, Pacific Vietnam University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology, University of Labor and Social Affairs (Hanoi Campus), University of Labor and Social Affairs (Ho Chi Minh City Campus), University of Economics, Danang University, Gia Dinh University, Banking Academy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Van Lang University, Ha Tinh University, Thu Dau Mot University, Nha Trang University.

With the participation of more than 70 representatives, the meeting was the official forum for law training institutions in Vietnam to exchange experiences, propose solutions and learn from each other about training, scientific research as well as community service. According to the meeting schedule, a series of activities took place continuously from March 10 to 12, 2023 with the Gala Dinner, Annual Meeting and Scientific Conference on “Improving the law training quality in Vietnam”.

At the opening session , Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Vu Nam (Vice President of the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Head of the Executive Board) delivered the opening speech on overviewing the network's activities in 2022.

At the same time, for the purpose of guiding the operation plan of the network in 2023,  Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh (Rector of the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Member of the Executive Board) also provided delegates with information about the network's activities in 2023.

In the morning working session on March 11, 2023, the Meeting participants also were divided into groups to discuss deeply to solve the following issues: resource sharing, scientific research, training program development, quality assurance and community service.

           The 2022 Annual Meeting is an important event hosted by the Network Executive Board, University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
