INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE CONFERENCE "COMPLETE LAW IN THE CURRENT JUDICIAL BRANCH - THEORETICAL AND PRACTICE"
Update day: 01-07-2022In 02 days, June 9 and 10, 2022, University of law, Hue University cooperated with Tula National University, Russia to organize an international scientific conference with the topic named "Complete law in the current judicial branch - theoretical and practice".
Attending the seminar were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council and Heads of affiliated departments, faculties and centers.
In the delegation, there were Professors, Doctor of Science from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan participating online included: Prof. Dr. Kravchenko Oleg Alexandrovich, Rector of Tula National University; Gritsaenko Alexander Alexandrovich, Chief Prosecutor of Tula Province, senior judicial advisor; Prof. Tolstukhina Tatyana Viktorovna; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Svetlichny Alexander Alekseevich; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bessonov Alexey Alexandrovich, Acting Rector of the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Davydov Vladimir Olegovich, Deputy Director of Tula Provincial Police, Tula State University, Russia; Prof. Tolstukhina Tatyana Viktorovna; Prof. Dr. Svetlichny Alexander Alekseevich with other members of the Delegation.

At the Conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of Law University and Prof. Dr. Kravchenko Oleg Alexandrovich, Rector of Tula National University spoke and shared about the purpose and meaning of the Workshop as well as an overview of the papers and presentations to be presented: These topics are very practical, both highly theoretical, and associated with practice and experiences from countries around the world, including Russia and other countries. The workshop took place in the context that Vietnam is strongly implementing topics on building a rule of law state and judicial reform in the period from now to 2030, with a vision to 2045. As well as for legislative reference in perfecting the criminal law, the criminal procedure law ensures uniformity and protects human rights in the field of criminal justice in the spirit of the 2013 Constitution of Vietnam and international conventions on human rights; as well as other needs and experiences on reforming criminal justice procedures towards democracy, convenience, equality and best protection of human rights, etc.
The seminar attracted a lot of professors and experts to participate in the seminar, with diverse research issues including: Current urgent issues of criminal law and criminal procedure; The trend of perfecting criminal procedure law, criminal investigation and judicial expertise; International cooperation as an effective tool to fight crime; Prospects for the development of criminal procedure, criminology, criminal investigation, judicial expertise and reconnaissance activities.
The conference had 11 papers presented with the following topics:
(1) Using modern information technology in criminal proceedings - Assoc. Bessonov Alexey Alexandrovich, Acting Rector of the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation;
(2) The investigating agency and the People's Procuracy in ensuring a fair trial in criminal proceedings in Vietnam - Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Kien, Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Law, University of Law, Hue University;
(3) Some arguments on the issue of collective investigation of extreme transnational criminal activities - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Davydov Vladimir Olegovich, Deputy Director of Tula Provincial Police, Tula State University, Russia;
(4) Theoretical framework on the principles of criminal proceedings from the principle of presumption of innocence - Dr. Dinh The Hung, Head of Criminal Law Department, Institute of State and Law - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences;
(5) On the trend of perfecting the criminal procedure law: the views of scientists and practice - Prof. Dr. Gavrilov Boris Yakovlevich, Department of Criminal Investigation, Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation;
(6) Discussing difficulties for lawyers' defense activities in criminal cases of corruption from current Vietnamese practice - LS. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, President of Vien An Law Firm;
(7) The current situation and development prospects of the scientific school of the center of judicial expertise of the Russian Federation under the Ministry of Justice of Russia - Prof. Dr. Smirnova Svetlana Arkadievna, Head of the Department of Judicial Assessment of the Friendship University of Peoples of the Russian Federation;
(8) International cooperation as a factor in the current development of criminal investigation science - Prof. Dr. Volchetskaya Tatyana Stanislavovna, Baltic Federal University named after Immanuel Kant;
(9) Protection of personal information in electronic transactions by criminal law - Experiences of other countries and suggestions for Vietnam - Dr. Nguyen Thi Binh, Lecturer of Criminal Law Faculty, University of Law, Hue University;
(10) Criminology in the military field and its influence on criminal law - Prof. Dr. Milyukov Sergei Fyodorovich, National Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation named after A.I. Herzen;
(11) The use of digital technology in the field examination - Prof. Dr. Kustov Anatoly Mikhailovich, department of criminal law and criminal investigation, chief scientific officer, Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Closing the workshop, the Conference Organizing Committee assessed the positive aspects of the two days of the workshop, and wished to exchange international experiences in criminal investigation, crime prevention, legal international cooperation and other issues related to crime in the information technology age, such as cybercrime and others. After the workshop, the authors continued to complete the article, organize the editing, and provide suggestions for publication into useful references in Vietnamese and Russian.
