On May 14, 2024, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, the University of Law, Hue University held a dialogue conference with students for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The conference was pleased to welcome delegates who are leaders of the University, including: Associate Professor, PhD. Doan Duc Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council, along with the participations of comrades in the Party Committee, Heads of affiliated functional departments, faculties, centers and more than 700 full-time students.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Associate Professor, PhD. Doan Duc Luong (Rector) emphasized: This is an annual activity organized to create a forum for students to have the opportunity to meet and dialogue directly with the University as well as affiliated units’ leaders in order to quickly detect their difficulties and problems during the learning process at the University of Law, Hue University. Thereby, the University as well as affiliated units’ leaders could promptly grasps the students’ thoughts and aspirations, providing solutions to overcome difficulties, and improving the quality of training activities and affiliated units’ operations within the University. The Rector expressed his wish for exchanges in the Conference to be conduct in the spirit of openness, democracy, frankness and quality.

On behalf of the Conference Chairing Committee, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Vice Rector, reported summarizing opinions from the student dialogue conference at the affiliated faculty and center level. The conference listened to and received nearly 20 questions and opinions from students focusing on issues of training, training facilities, student scientific research, testing and other issues.

 Also at the Conference, affiliated units’ leaders responded and answered students' questions.

Concluding the conference, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Chairman of the Conference, requested affiliated units’ leaders to, base on their respective functions, tasks, current regulations, and actual conditions, effectively deploy and implement the issues that students are concerned about.
