With a steadfast commitment to responsibility, urgency, and democratic principles, the official session of the 7th Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the College of Law, Hue University, commenced successfully at 8:00 a.m. on May 26, 2024, in Hall B. This marked the beginning of the 2024-2027 term with enthusiasm and purpose.

It is a great honor to welcome distinguished guests and delegates to the Congress. Representing the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union, we are honored by the presence of Comrade Hoang Thi Thuy Linh, Permanent Deputy Secretary. From the Hue University Youth Union, we welcome Comrade Le Chi Hung Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and Chairman of the Hue University Student Association. Additionally, delegates from various Schools, Faculties, Institutes, and Centers under Hue University have joined us.

From the University of Law, Hue University, we are privileged to have Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of the School; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Principal of the University; and Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the Law University Council in attendance. We are also joined by faculty members who serve as Heads or Deputy Heads of Faculties, Centers, and functional departments, as well as representatives from Unions.

Representing the leadership of the Youth Union of the University of Law across different periods, we were honored by the presence of esteemed individuals such as Dr. Ly Nam Hai, Former Secretary of the School Youth Union (2017-2022); MSc. Tran Thi Dieu Huong, Former Deputy Secretary (2015-2017); and MSc. NCS. Phan Dinh Minh, Former Deputy Secretary (2017-2022). The Congress was also attended by sister units and partners of the Union at the University of Law, Hue University.

Notably, the Congress saw the participation of 200 outstanding delegates, representing over 4,000 students of the University of Law, actively engaging in the proceedings and discussions.

Following the successful morning session of May 25, 2024, the official session of the Congress proceeded in a solemn, serious, and urgent atmosphere. During this session, the results of the first session's work were reviewed, along with a comprehensive report summarizing the Union's activities and student movements from the 2022-2024 term. Moreover, directions and tasks for the upcoming 2024-2027 term were presented and discussed.

Addressing the Congress, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Luong expressed high praise for the achievements of the University's Youth Union in the previous term. He emphasized that in the upcoming term, the dedicated and unified staff of the Youth Union will continue to strengthen the student movement within the University. Their goal is to further enhance the reputation of Hue University of Law based on the principles of "Thinking, Creativity, and Responsibility."

In his address to guide the Congress, Comrade Le Chi Hung Cuong, representing the Standing Committee of the Hue Study Union, expressed optimism regarding the achieved results. He emphasized the expectation that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Law, Hue University, will take robust steps towards future development, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of the student movement at Hue University.

At the Congress, decisions were made to recognize individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements in Student Union work during the past term.

Based on the outcomes of two working sessions, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the University of Law, Hue University for the 2024-2027 term comprises 15 members distinguished by their capacity, political acumen, and sense of responsibility. We extend our best wishes to the Executive Committee for their courage, confidence, and successful execution of their task to advance union activities and foster youth movements at the School and University, thereby contributing to the broader development of Hue.

At the conclusion of this successful Congress, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the University of Law, Hue University extends heartfelt gratitude for the steadfast guidance of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the University, as well as the Hue University Youth Union, and the support of units across Hue University. It is the unwavering support and attention from leaders at all levels that have contributed to the resounding success of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress at the University of Law, Hue University for the term 2024-2027.
