The Visiting Program of foreign Professors at University of Law, Hue University
Update day: 13-09-2021For implementing the long-term strategy on reinforcing international cooperation activities in order to improve the quality of researching and teaching of the University, University of Law, Hue University with Vietnam Society of International Law (VSIL) and Centre for International Studies of Austria (CLIS) co-organised the Visiting Professor Program in November 2019.
In the first year, the Program was honored to welcome Lawyer Theresa M. Napolitano. Mrs. Theresa M. Napolitano has more than 20 years of experience in immigration and nationality law in the United States. Currently, Mrs. Theresa is operating New York-based TN Global Law Firm. Morever, Theresa’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, International Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association and visiting lecturer of many universities in the United States and Europe.
In this Program, Lawyer Theresa M. Napolitano participated in teaching and academic exchange with the students at University of Law, Hue University on the subject of the US Constitutional Law and Immigration Law. Besides, Lawyer Theresa also introduced to the students about advanced legal English terms, organised moot courts and other professional support sessions. The Program was really a valuable opportunity for the students to enhance knowledge, improve the practical legal skills in the internationalization environment.
In the next times, the Visting Program of foreign Professors shall continue to be implemented at University of Law, Hue University with the participation of senior lectures, including experienced professors, lawyers and judges from legal institutions and agencies in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada with more and more diverse forms of training.
